All our forest concessions are located in Cameroun and are managed by our International Negoce Cameroun (INC).
Through our subsidiary (INC), we’ve delivered high quality and sustainably sourced timber for over 20 years. It comes exclusively from our forest concession in the Republic of Cameroun.
INC has been operating in the Republic of Cameroun since 2002, and our operations are headquartered in Yaounde, the capital of Cameroun.
We manage over 300 Thousand hectares (ha) of natural forest - one of the world’s largest tropical hardwood concessions in Cameroun.
As with the rest of our business, the team in the Republic of Cameroun is committed to maintaining a “Safety First” culture. Our goal is “zero lost time incidents (LTIs)”.
As a result of continuous efforts, we’ve seen a marked reduction and recorded a LTIFR of 1.12 in 2021, with annual person-hours of 3.75 million. We work towards eliminating as many risks as we can which cause injury or illness
In partnership with the Republic of Congo, we operate a pioneering REDD+ initiative to realise value from 92,530 hectares of standing forest in our Pikounda Nord concession, in the heart of the Congo River Basin. The objective of this pilot initiative is to generate alternative revenues from sustainably managed forest landscapes by valuing the forest as a carbon sink and to originate carbon credits for the pre-compliance Voluntary Carbon market. This market is considered best practice and recognised by the global carbon community as able to generate solid and marketable credits.
